Thank you for Summer Camp

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to say a huge thanks to all #NationalLottery players – who enabled The National Lottery Community Fund to award almost £580 million to over 11,500 community groups across England in 2023.

This year our Summer Camp was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and we can’t thank them enough!

For many of our young people, this is the only time they get to go away with their friends and this year was our biggest and brightest yet! Instead of camping with the possibility of being rained out of their tents like in Summer Camp 2022, this year we went to Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre where there were real beds and roofs!

Summer Camp isn’t just about a fun few days with friends – our young people learnt how to make a fire, tested their courage and learnt vital skills like teamwork and how to encourage other people, and spent nights away from their home and family which teaches them independence.
